Larry,
Hi, how are things? We sure have had some hot and humid weather. I’ve been swimming every day this week except for yesterday and today.
I got a letter from Larry Thomas yesterday postmarked the 13th of July. He said he just wrote you a letter.
Boy, you just wouldn’t believe how dark Joanna and I are getting. My back is black. Aqua Gardens is such a neat place to swim, but the Dolphin Club is much neater. Guess what????? I can DIVE off the high dive now. Not just jump, but DIVE. That’s pretty slick, huh?

6 P.M.
Dear Larry:
A few lines to let you know we are thinking of you and hoping you are ok. Everyone here is ok. Tresa has an upset stomach and was sick today. She isn’t running a fever so I don’t think its anything serious.
This morning we went to Karl’s ballgame and they lost. They haven’t been winning too many games this year. There are a lot of new boys on the team and they are not doing too good. Their last regular game is this Friday, and then next week they start playing in the tournament. So I will be letting you know how it turns out. Karl has been playing first base and is playing good in the games, but he can’t win the games himself. Mr. Sparks said that he is going to play all his regulars in the tournament, so Karl will be in the whole game. Sure wish you were here, because I probably wont be able to go to all the games, only when Dad or Joanna are off to take me.
