That’s just my way of saying “now dammit, write!”

Ahhh, the fond memories of the smokey bingo hall. I used to love taking my dolls with me and going with Mother. Her sister, Aunt Helen and Uncle Vic used to run the bingo joint, and Mother helped them work the concession stand during intermission. It would amaze me how her and Aunt Helen would play like 30 cards and know if the other person was “in”, which meant down to 1 number on their card. That was before Mother had her drivers license, and Daddy used to drop her off and I was always afraid he may have had one too many Falstaff and would end up backing the car (probably the Dodge) into the pond.

Chipper was another dog. I don’t really remember him too well– we had so many dogs that either ran off, got hit by a car, or poisoned by a neighbor because he had a “BM” in their yard! We were not responsible dog owners to say the least, mostly because my mom never really liked them. And Joanna did run around with an interesting group of friends to say the least!

The “Learn to Fly” image at the top was just on the back of the Edward Krause clipping that was included. I thought it was interesting. You can click it to view the whole image.

I almost contacted Joanna’s friends that were mentioned in here, but then decided against it since Amelia was talking smack about them. haha
