Maybe Grandma’s days were “dreary” with the thought that her son would soon be in the throes of the Vietnam war.

I feel like grandma loves to use the word dreary. I have seen it more reading these letters than I ever have before. I think I remember going to that theater with you guys and Uncle Larry once. I don’t remember what we saw, but I think I remember the theater.

Larry used to take us to see movies all the time at The State Theater. Never saw Valley of the Dolls.

I know Amelia didn’t learn to drive until really late, but did she ever learn how to put a sentence together?
