He would also shoot blanks from his gun into the ground when the clock struck midnight. We would also take pots and pans and bang them together.  We are going to try to contact WGN Radio and see if they'll let us have the clip of Larry talking on the radio. I would give anything for that clip! I remember when I was a kid and we would spend New Years Eve in Anderson with Larry.
